Takin' Back the Country

length: 3:42

I’ll go find a network wall to treat me right
Y’all can take the change and stick it out of sight

Don’t tread on me
Don’t you tread on me
Hey, are you ready for some good news?
We’re gonna take back our country

Where it will be easy to get a place, build a house
Now that he PA said no that’s the home of the blue mounts

Don’t tread on me
Don’t you tread on me
We’re gonna use the common sense
And we’re gonna take back our country

Well, they’ve beaten to death that poor race horse
The politically correct thing is grunted force

Don’t tread on me
Don’t you tread on me
Hey, are you ready for some good news?
We’re gonna take back our country

Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and bing
Lots of good voices from few of them things

Why don’t you find your own business
That’s good advice
Mind your own business
They got it right
But if you mind your business then you won’t be mind in mind

Every sign says for self release
Price reduced, make an offer please

Don’t tread on me
Don’t you tread on me
Hey, are you ready for some good news?
We’re gonna take back our country

There’s no way today we could build both the dams
There’d be way too many government permit scams

Don’t tread on me
Don’t you tread on me
Hey, are you ready for the good news?
We’re gonna take back this country

Hey Barack pack your bags, head to Chicago
Take a trailer parkin’ with you so you’ll know where to go

Don’t move it on over (move it on over)
Move it on over (move it on over)
Move it little dog, the big dog’s moving me

Move it on over (move it on over)
Slide it on over (move it on over)

Hey, are you ready for some good news?
Are you ready for some good news?
We’re gonna take back our country

I'm Gonna Get Drunk and Hank Williams

length: 3:13

Three Day Trip

length: 3:44
I took a three day trip with a one day woman
If you know what I’m talkin’ about
After 24 hours it was plain to see
This week-end wasn’t gonna work out
She and I didn’t have one thing in common
And her papers weren’t coming around
I’m on a three day stay with a no way babe
What the hell am I gonna do now?

Well Friday night cost me a hot dollar dinner
Lots of tequila and wine she drown
Now she’s messed up, real good and drunk
Stumbling and falling down
So I had to carry her to the room where she instantly passed out
And started snorrin’ loud so I went back down
And took a cab to the waffle house (boy, this is fun)

Now Saturday morning along about noon
She calls room service bring me some doubles
Hey, meet me in the bar. It’s 6 hours till dark
And this bitch is having speech troubles
Fijy dizzy this and wijy wajy that
I though God, please rescue me
Another couple sat down, they ordered around
Now is my chance to go free

I took a three day trip with a one day woman
If you know what I’m talkin’ about
After 24 hours it was plain to see
This week-end really wasn’t gonna work out
She and I didn’t have one thing in common
And her papers weren’t coming around
I’m on a three day stay with a no way babe
What the hell am I gonna do now?

So it’s the … in my date get really shitfaced
When his girl grabbed me to dance
Looks like you and me are up the same tree
So let’s start our own romance
Yea, she and I watched the Sunday morning sun come up in each others’ arms
This weekend started bad but we’re really glad
Cuz the chewy dumpster’s still in the barn
Don’t take a three day trip with a one day woman
Better learn what I’m talkin’ about
If you’re gonna go to the islands don’t take a chance
Take a babe that you’d really get down
So if you have any friend wanna line you up
With a blind date take it from me
Get a girl you know who’s cocked and ready to go
Forget about the harmony

Mucho glad to see you
Vamanos

I’ve never seen her before

Old School

length: 2:53
I remember a young Johnny Cash waiting in the wings
Cause he'd hand me his cigarette when he'd go out to sing
And good ole Marshall Tucker Band back in 83
Was a special night they asked me
Come on out and play 'Can't You See'

Dolly was a teenage girl when I first me her wow

Jerry Lee played rock n roll at my house and I'm proud

I'm from the old school

But I made up my own rules

But I learned a thing or two

From some pretty good teachers

My education has served me well

One look at me and you can tell my music's true
A class reunion of the blues

I'm from the old school

Well things were kinda rough at times I had to find my way

Not exactly an overnight sensation like some are today

Hey I'm a dinosaur that's for sure but here's what I gotta say
To anyone that questions my credentials "Hi, I'm Hank"

And I'm from the old school

But I made up some new rules

And you might learn a thing or two if ya hang around

I'll teach you to write and play n sing 'em

Take these guitars out and string 'em

We'll make your music true

A class reunion of the blues

I'm from the old school

And after all the songs are sang

Let's stop and have a drink

From my old bar stool

Hey everybody here's to the old school

We Don't Apologize for America

length: 2:40
No nation's lost more men than Uncle Sam
From the fields of France to evil Afghanistan
No, freedom isn't free
Neither is liberty
It ain't the protesters and politicians
It's the 19 year old's on dangerous missions

We don't apologize for America
That old VFW, that is sacred ground
And we like to sing along on that good ole Haggert song
When you're runnin' down our country hogs
You're walkin' on the fightin' side of me

So get behind the stars and stripes
Or just get the hell out and quit your riot
So you've got a long list of friends that you don't like
Well please do us a favor, all you America haters
Why don't you move to Mexico tonight?

No, we don't apologize for America
Walter Reed, that is sacred ground
And we'll all sing along on that good ole Meryl song
When you're runnin' down our country hogs
You're walkin' on the fightin' side of me

Hey, Obama, one more time

When you're runnin' down our country men
You're walkin' on the fightin' side of me

You Win Again

length: 3:11
composer: Hank Williams
lyricist: Hank Williams
The news is out all over town that you've been seen out runnin' around
I know that I should leave but then I just can't go you win again
This heart of mine could never see what everybody knew but me
Just trusting you was my great sin what can I do you win again
I'm sorry for your victim now cause soon his head like mine will bow
He'll give his heart but all in vain and someday say you win again
You have no heart you got no shame you take true love and give the blame
I guess that I should not complain I love you still you won again
I love you still you won again

The Cow Turd Blues

length: 3:01
There's some things in this country you don't mess with
And I am blessed to be on that short list
We're out here in the real world
Not that feel good media swirl
And we've something for you - read our lips

They've made a huge miscalculation
About the mood of this nation
Good workin' people done got tired of bein' wrong
Then they saw one of their own
Get mistreated and dumped on
They was standin' behind him, he's not alone

I wanna dedicate this song to Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood and the first man that sent this, president Harry Truman

Never kick the cow t___ on a hot day
Or you might get some poo on your pants' legs
Thought they were gonna have some fun
Kiddin' around with old Hank's son
But America had my back all the way

Remember never kick the cow t___ on a hot day
Never pick up a rattle snake the wrong way
Never ever kick, would've been much smarter to let it sip
Never kick the t___, should've let the man just be here
Never kick the cow t___ on a hot day

Absolutely beautiful

Who's Taking Care of Number One

length: 3:29
I wanna dedicate this song to every workin' man and woman in this country
and to everyone that's tryin' to run a business and constantly punished,
taxed and regulated by the federal government.

I'm goin' to call up a talk show
I'm goin' to give 'em a piece
I don't give a d___ about Iran
Or the Middle East
Though they've been fightin' for about 2000 years
And we send billions to Mexico and Zimbabwe
Well, I think it's time for America to watch her own store
So here is my question to everyone
Who is taking care of number one?

New Hampshire got it right, live free or die
Don't tread on us and tell us how to run our lives
No matter where you go
Everyone would like to know
Can Washington D.C. mind her store?
Is there a soul still down on the farm?
And who is taking care of number one?

Our glorious leader just got back from China and j__an
Where it gave away our job, put us down and sold out our plans
Well people here at home are tired of fail program and loans
I believe they meant to change all this stuff that's going on
It's time for Americans to mind their own store
And here is my question for everyone
Who is taking care of number one?

New Hampshire got it right, live free or die
Don't tread on us and try to run our lives
Now it don't matter where you go
Everybody would like to know
Can Washington D.C. run her store? (No)
Is there a soul still down on the farm?
And who is taking care of number one?

Don't need to be giving all this money away to all these other fellows.
We need it right here at home.
You know like 2 and 2 is 4, do you get it?

That Ain't Good

length: 4:08
A different boss at work
That might do me well
'Cause I'm kinda mad at someone
Who thinks that they can tell me what to say and do
Everybody's got a b___ and a point of view
Well I used to like to go fishin'
Watch that hook and line
But I sold my boat and motor
And everybody wondered why
That ain't good
No, that ain't good
(Cause that ain't me)
My wife went to a lawyer
I never dreamed she would
Now my address is rock bottom
And they know me in this neighborhood
That ain't good
No no, that ain't good
(I need to get out of here)
Watchin' these nuts on TV
Blowin' themselves to hell
So they can all get to heaven
And my kids want me to tell
Tell 'em why
Did all those people have to die
No, that ain't good
Cause I don't know why
Went to church Sunday morning
Never thought I could
Prayed to the man to help me
Get back to bein myself like I should
It done me good
Yeah it done me good
You gotta look for the good in this world

Keep the Change

length: 3:31
I'll keep my freedom
I'll keep my guns
Try to keep my money
And my religion too

Try to keep on workin'
Try to keep on smilin'
I will keep my Christian name and y'all can keep the change

I will keep my heroes
Pictures on the wall
I'll keep my family safe
You bluff when I call
I'm gonna keep my big V8
Keep my friends the same
Keep the government outta my business
And y'all can keep the change

This country sure as hell been goin' down the drain
We know what we need
We know who to blame
United Socialist States of America
How do ya like that name?
I'll keep the USA and y'all can keep the change

So FOX and friends
Wanna put me down
Ask for my opinions
Then twist it all around
Supposed to be talkin' about my father's new CD
Well two can play that "Gotcha' Game" just wait and see
Don't tread on me

This country sure as hell been goin' down the drain
We know what we need
We know who to blame
United Socialist States of America
Don't ya just LOVE that name?
I'll keep the USA and y'all can keep the change

I'll keep the USA and y'all can keep the change

Stock Market Blues

length: 3:27
Hey Charlie Snob, could you make me some investments?
I wanna get the hell outta here
I've ordered my Mercedes
I wanna meet some classy ladies
And start drinkin' champagne instead of beer

Now I don't have much money
But we could work out something
I could send you 20 bucks a week
He said that's not how it works
And just what is your net worth?
I said my net worth is what I got on me

So I called up my mother in law
Told 'er about the add I saw
Guaranteeing a fortune to be made
I said I need a hundred thou
Cuz we have got to jump in now
We'll make a bunch and split it up 2 ways

So I met her down at the bank
Grabbed the check and then I ran
As fast as I could to the store
Now here's all the money
So pick some winner sunny
And call me up when we make the big score

Well I saw it on the evening news
That stock market really had the blues
And when it closed it set an all time low
I wondered where did I go wrong?
Why did this happen to me lord?
I've got to get that money back, you know?

Well I just sat there and wondered why
I was gonna buy low and sell it high
But things sure didn't work out that way
I don't know what I'm gonna do
And to tell y'all the truth
I think I've lost my a__ets today

Hey broker man, please don't make no more investments
Cuz I would like to keep my short and pants
Cancel that Mercedes, I'm goin' back to the old lady
In Little Rock instead of Paris, France

Oh, I'll never play that game again
I think y'all saw me comin' friend
And I jumped right in like a big fool

Oh I thought I'd make some money
But it's really kinda funny
Cuz I borrowed all of it from you know who

Oh, I thought I'd make some money
But it's really kinda funny
Cuz I borrowed all of it from you know who

Yes mother in law, I'm checkin' on it right now

I Think I'll Just Stay Here and Drink

length: 3:26
composer: Merle Haggard
lyricist: Merle Haggard

[Verse 1: Hank Williams]
Well, I could be holding you tonight
Could quit doing wrong start doing right
You don't care about what I think
I think I'll just stay here and drink

[Verse 2: Merle Haggard]
Hey putting you down don't square no deal
Least you know the way I feel
Take all the money in the bank
Think I'll just stay here and drink

[Verse 3: Hank Williams]
Listen close and you can hear
That loud jukebox playing in my ear
Ain't no woman going to change the way I think
Think I'll just stay here and drink

[Verse 4: Both]
Hurting me now don't mean a thing
Since loving you don't feel no pain
My mind ain't nothing but a total blank
I think I'll just stay here and drink
